Privacy Policy
Brownsolve Limited (“we”) sells tech kits, downloads and build services from this site. This page says what personal data we hold, why, and what you can do about it. Plain language on purpose.
Who is the controller
Brownsolve Limited, Apartment 14B, Castlegrange, Ballycummin Road, Raheen, Limerick, V94 DR94, Ireland. Company No. 828404. Data contact: support@twyn.shop.
What we collect and why
- Order data — name, email, delivery address, phone, what you bought. Needed to perform the contract: take payment, ship, handle returns, provide support.
- Payment data — handled by Stripe. We see the last four digits and the card brand; we never see or store the full card number.
- Account data — if you create an account: email, hashed password, order history.
- Service briefs — what you send us for a build: business details, logins or API keys you choose to share, files. Needed to do the work.
- Support correspondence — emails and their contents, kept so we can pick a thread back up.
- Server logs — IP address, user agent, timestamps. Legitimate interest in keeping the site up and stopping abuse.
- Newsletter — email only, if you opt in. Consent, withdrawable in one click.
We do not run advertising pixels. There is no third-party analytics script on this site.
Lawful bases
Contract performance (orders, services), legal obligation (tax and accounting records), legitimate interest (security logs, fraud prevention), consent (newsletter).
Who we share it with
- Stripe — card processing, as independent controller for its own obligations.
- Suppliers and carriers — only the name, address and phone required to deliver an order.
- Email delivery providers — transactional mail only.
- Our accountant — invoices, as required by Irish tax law.
We do not sell personal data.
Where it goes
Our site and mail run on servers in the EU. Stripe and some email delivery may process outside the EEA under Standard Contractual Clauses. Payment pages are TLS-encrypted.
How long we keep it
- Order and invoice records: 6 years after the tax year ends, as Revenue requires.
- Account data: until you close the account, then deleted.
- Support email: 2 years.
- Service briefs and any keys handed over: deleted or rotated within 30 days of the job closing.
- Server logs: 30 days.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
Access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and withdrawal of consent. Email support@twyn.shop — we answer within one working day and act within one month. If we get it wrong you can complain to the Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie) or go to the courts.
Cookies
Only what the shop needs: a session cookie for the cart and, if you log in, an authentication cookie. No tracking or advertising cookies are set, so there is no consent banner to click through.
Children
The shop is not aimed at children. If you buy a kit for a child, we hold your details, not theirs.
